SESAR launches call for proposals on drone geo-fencing

29/09/2017 (Agence Europe) – The Single European Sky Air traffic management Research Joint Undertaking (SESAR) launched a call for proposals on Friday 29 September to support a project on the geo-fencing of drones. With a budget of €500,000 over 15 months, one project will be selected to carry out live demonstrations of active geo-fencing with drones flying below 500 feet (around 152 metres).
