Juncker shocked by situation in Rakhine State

On Thursday 14 September, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker spoke out against the situation in Rakhine State, Burma/Myanmar.

"What is happening is a catastrophe", he said during an interview.  In Juncker's view, the situation is "shocking since, once again, they are trying to eradicate whole ethnicities".
