Bulgaria joins list of countries affected by Fipronil in eggs crisis, analyses continuing for amitraz

Each passing day brings fresh news in the scandal of the eggs tainted with Fipronil. Bulgaria has joined the 20 EU member states and three non-EU countries officially affected by the crisis for both health and trust resulting from the misuse of this insecticide which is banned in animals likely to enter the food chain (see EUROPE 11844).
