EU threatens North Korea with further measures after it fires missile over Japan

On Tuesday 29 August, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini condemned North Korea's firing of a ballistic missile earlier that day and warned that the EU would consider further measures.  The last time a North Korean missile flew over Japan was in 2009.
