09/06/2017 (Agence Europe) – Four UK MEPs are to leave the European Parliament after being elected to the House of Commons in the general election in the UK on Thursday 8 June: for the Conservative party Vicky Ford and Andrew Lewer, and for Labour Afzal Khan and Anneliese Dodds. The chair of the internal market and consumer protection committee, currently held by Ford, will consequently become vacant. (MB)
