GSA Agency announces two Galileo satellites will soon be operational

06/06/2017 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 31 May, the GSA Agency and the European GNSS Service Centre announced that two additional satellites in the European space geo-location service, Galileo, will soon be operational. This will mean that the Galileo constellation will have 16 operational satellites. The two satellites launched into orbit last November will help to strengthen the initial services launched at the end of 2016, explained the agency in a press release (see EUROPE 11672)....
