15/05/2017 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 15 May, the Council of ministers of the EU adopted without debate a decision mobilising €2.6 million under the EGF (European Globalisation Adjustment Fund) following the redundancies, in Finland, of 945 workers at Nokia and three other companies carrying out activities in the sector of the manufacture of computing, electronic and optical products (see EUROPE 11764). The aid will be used to help 821 redundant workers to get back into work. (LC)
