The European Commission adopted three proposals on Monday 8 May on the positions to be adopted on behalf of the EU in three regional fisheries management organisations.
The first is on the position to be adopted in the South Pacific Regional Fisheries Management Organisation (SPRFMO).
The second is on the EU position in the annual Conference of the Parties to the Convention on the Conservation and Management of Pollock Resources in the Central Bering Sea. Poland (but not the EU) is a contracting party to the Bering Sea convention.
The third is on the position to be adopted in the meeting of the parties to the Southern Indian Ocean Fisheries Agreement (SIOFA). (Original version in French by Lionel Changeur)
