Bavaria gets assistance from EU Solidarity Fund

08/03/2017 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 7 March, the European Commission approved assistance from the EU Solidarity Fund for Bavaria, worth €31.5 million, following the floods that struck the Lower Bavaria region in June 2016. The aim of this assistance is to restore essential infrastructure and reimburse the costs of the emergency and cleaning up operations, explained the Commission. (PH)
