Mohamed Boudra warns about risk of stopping all cooperation until EU backs down on its position

Morocco is against any distinction between its own territory and that of the Western Sahara – in contrast to what the European Court of Justice has ruled(see EUROPE 11718).  "We are against", said Mohamed Boudra, the head of the association of Moroccan mayors, who was elected last Thursday as co-leader of the Euro-Mediterranean Local and Regional Assembly (ARLEM) (see EUROPE 11732).
