Suspected of conflict of interest on Commission's SCOEL committee on health in workplace

Were the upper limits for exposure to chemicals recently proposed by the Commission calculated entirely objectively? French daily Le Monde feels that the answer is a definite no. In an article published on 24 February, the newspaper alleges that two thirds of the committee at the Commission tasked with answering this question (SCOEL) have connections with the industry.
