On Wednesday 14 December, the European Parliament gave its approval to including a memorandum of understanding on textiles trade in the EU-Uzbekistan partnership and cooperation agreement (PCA) that was concluded in 1999. The goal of this is to encourage the Uzbek authorities to continue the process of completely eradicating all forms of forced labour in the country.
