EU/UNPD programme for funding civil society consolidation project

24/11/2016 (Agence Europe) – In a press release dated 23 November, the European delegation in Algiers announced that the European Union and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) had signed a financial agreement for a programme that seeks to strengthen the capacity of the local authorities and civil society. The programme is called “CapDeL” and was launched in May 2016 to strengthen “participatory democracy and local development” in Algeria. The press release explains...
