In the view of European Commissioner for Justice and Consumers Věra Jourová, Volkswagen's action plan, which consists of repairing all vehicles – between now and autumn 2017 – of European consumers taken in by the scandal of diesel cars fitted with a mechanism to invalidate the anti-pollution tests, is not enough, and she made this clear to VW on Wednesday 21 October (see EUROPE 11630).
