On Monday, 12 September the European Commission awarded €9.2 million from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) for energy interconnection between Germany and Poland.
The project involves the construction of the Lasów-Jeleniów and Gałów-Kiełczów gas transfer pipelines, in the Polish region of Lower Silesia.
