08/09/2016 (Agence Europe) – EuroMed Rights, a group of Euro-Mediterranean civil society organisations, published a report on Wednesday 7 September on ‘Enchained Freedom: what room for civil society in the EuroMed?', detailing restrictions at many levels on civil society in the Mediterranean, giving concrete examples from Turkey, Egypt, Algeria, Syria, Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories. Recommendations are made for joint action and to influence the EU’s policies. (FB)
