On Tuesday 26 July, the Council of the EU announced the appointment of two new heads of mission as part of its Common Security and Defence Policy (CSDP). Kirsi Henriksson, a senior diplomat from Finland, is currently deputy head of the EUCAP Sahel Mali mission.
