15/06/2016 (Agence Europe) - Involving civil society in Tunisian “neighbourhood policy”. The EuroMed Rights - Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Network is organising a conference debate on the role of civil society in European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) on Thursday 16 June in Brussels, under the auspices of the EU's External Action Service. Commissioner Johannes Hahn will be there, together with the Tunisian Minister for Civil Society, Kamel Jendoubi. The example of the tripartite dialogue (NGOs together with the two different parties) will be drawn on as experienced to help pilot this initiative. Those behind it would like to expand the initiative to European civil society and the region as a whole. (FB)
