09/06/2016 (Agence Europe) - Eurozone GDP revised upwards in first quarter. On Tuesday 7 June, the statistical office of the EU (Eurostat) revised the GDP growth of the Eurozone upwards in the first quarter of 2016 compared to the fourth quarter of 2015, from +0.5% to +0.6%. The drop in Greek GDP is sharper than anticipated, at -0.5% instead of -0.4%, whilst the growth observed in France is higher, +0.6% rather than +0.5%. At EU level, growth continues to stand +0.5%.
