26/04/2016 (Agence Europe) - Numbers backing leaving the EU continue to rise. A new poll published on 26 April shows that support by the British for their country's continued membership of the EU has, once again, fallen. Support for staying in the EU fell by 2 points to 51%, Reuters reports. British voters will vote in the referendum on whether to remain within or to leave the EU on 23 June. Support for the leave campaign rose by two points to 43%. This poll comes in the wake of a three-day visit to the UK by Barack Obama, who urged the country to remain part of Europe and said that, were it to leave the EU, Great Britain might have to wait ten years to conclude a free-trade agreement with the United States.
