Brussels, 05/02/2016 (Agence Europe) - A total of USD 10 billion was promised in London on Thursday 4 February by donors at a support conference for Syria and neighbouring countries, more than expected by the UN and co-organising countries (see EUROPE11483).
The British prime minister, David Cameron, said the conference had seen the biggest sum ever got together in one day in response to a humanitarian crisis.
