Brussels, 02/02/2016 (Agence Europe) - During the plenary debate on Monday 1 February in Strasbourg, MEPs called on the Commission to assess the impact of the EU granting China market economy status, on jobs in Europe. They also asked for a solution to be found that was compatible with WTO rules and one that allowed the EU to maintain good relations with China, whilst maintaining its ability to protect its economy against unfair competition from Chinese imports.
