Brussels, 22/12/2015 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 22 December, the Finnish Economic Affairs Minister Olli Rehn and EU Climate Action and Energy Commissioner Miguel Arias Cañete signed a grant agreement of €5.4 million for studies necessary to launch construction works of the BalticConnector gas pipeline between Finland and Estonia.
This interconnector will allow the transportation of gas in both directions and seeks to increase energy security in the eastern region of the Baltic Sea....
