Brussels, 16/10/2015 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 16 October Maja Kocijancic, the spokesperson for High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini, said that the EU had taken note of Moldova's former prime minister, Vlad Filat, being detained since Thursday 15 October as part of a fraud case. Filat is suspected of having drawn $250 million from the country's banking system.
