Brussels, 30/07/2015 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 28 July, the European Commission approved four rural development programmes.
These are for: - French region of Auvergne (€1.67 billion of public funding for the period from 2014 to 2020, comprising €1.2 billion from the EU budget, or 10.6% of the total funding allocated to France, and €466.9 million in national funding); - Catalonia, in Spain (€810.8 million in total public funding for 2014-2020, with €348.6 million from the EU budget); - the Valencia Community in Spain (€450 million in public funding, including €204 million from the EU budget); - and the Italian region of Marche (€538 million in total in public funding, with €232 million of this sum from the EU budget).
