08/07/2015 (Agence Europe) - Parliament approves EGF funding in Finland. On Wednesday 8 July, the European Parliament voted by 589 votes to 78, with 10 abstentions to approve funding of €1.36 million from the European globalisation adjustment fund (EGF) for Finland. The money will be used to help 500 workers made redundant by the electronics firm Broadcom and two of its suppliers return to the labour market. (JK)
