Brussels, 22/06/2015 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 12 June, the European Commission formally approved the rural development programme 2014-2020 for Umbria, a central region of Italy. €877 million in public funds will be earmarked for the region over seven years, with €378 million to come from the EARFD (European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development) and €499 million in national co-funding.
