The formation of the Europe of Nations and Freedoms Group in the European Parliament from a coalition of extreme-right movements was confirmed and its composition announced by Marine Le Pen, leader of French extreme right-wing party the Front National (FN) at the Parliament in Brussels on Tuesday 16 June.
