Commission says trade supports more than 31 million jobs in Europe

Brussels, 03/06/2015 (Agence Europe) - Research published by the European Commission on Monday 1 June notes the growing importance of EU exports for jobs in Europe.

The research, carried out jointly by the Joint Research Centre and DG Trade, analyses the complex interaction between trade, job markets and income in all the EU member states, and reaches three main conclusions: a) EU exports to the rest of the world are increasingly important to support jobs in Europe, and export-linked jobs...
