27/05/2015 (Agence Europe) - Talks resume on Iranian nuclear programme. The European External Action Service (EEAS) has announced that talks between the E3+3 (Germany, France, United Kingdom and China, United States, Russia) and Iran resumed in Vienna on Wednesday 27 May. The discussions on the Iranian nuclear programme, which are expected to continue beyond 27 May, are being held between EEAS Director Helga Schmid and Iranian deputy foreign ministers, Abbas Araghchi and Madjid Takht Ravanchi. The negotiations are accompanied by discussions of technical experts from the E3+3 and Iran. The last negotiating round between Schmid, Araghchi and Ravanchi was held on 20-22 May. After a framework agreement signed on 2 April (see EUROPE 11289), the two parties are due to draft the text of the final agreement by 30 June. (Camille-Cerise Gessant)
