27/05/2015 (Agence Europe) - EU conforms with United Nations Security Council resolution. On Wednesday 27 May, the Council of the European Union implemented UN Security Council Resolution 2213 (2015) on Libya by amending certain criteria for listing in relation to the travel restrictions and asset freeze measures. It also updated the list of people and entities subject to travel restrictions and asset freeze measures, as decided by the Security Council Committee for sanctions on Libya. The listing criteria for people and entities subject to EU autonomous measures in terms of travel restrictions and asset freezes were also amended. These decisions were published in the EU Official Journal on 27 May. No new person or entity has been added to the people or entities subject to restrictive measures. (Camille-Cerise Gessant)
