Brussels, 22/05/2015 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament's agriculture committee is expected on Tuesday 26 May to adopt the report by its chairman, Polish Christian Democrat Czeslaw Adam Siekerski, approving the European Commission proposal to reduce 2015 direct payments by 1.39%.
This reduction in direct aid is needed so that €441.6 million can be found for the EU agriculture budget's 2016 crisis reserve.
