Brussels, 15/05/2015 (Agence Europe) - David Cameron's Conservative government does not necessarily have the policy objective of obtaining a change in the EU treaties in order to prepare for the promised UK referendum on whether the country should remain in the European Union.
The British government may consider other legal paths to a renegotiation of the treaties, explained British foreign secretary Philip Hammond on Thursday 14 May in an interview with the Financial Times.
