Parliamentary committee in surprise vote on country-by-country tax reporting

Brussels, 07/05/2015 (Agence Europe) - The Greens/EFA group at the European Parliament may not have been expecting it on Wednesday, but on Thursday 7 May it was happy to report that it had won a victory in the EP's legal affairs committee (JURI), when it backed by 13 to 10 the Greens/EFA amendments to force big companies and quoted companies to provide a country-by-country breakdown of the tax the companies pay.
