17/04/2015 (Agence Europe) - Two new product designations registered. The Commission has approved requests from two further products for registration on the list of protected designation of origin (PDO) and protected geographical indications (PGI). These are, both from Portugal, Chouriça de Carne de Melgaço, a smoked sausage (PGI), and Presunto de Melgaço, a smoked ham (PGI). They will now join the list of over more than 1,200 protected products. (LC)
