Ruling against Italy on police violence at Genoa G8 in 2001

Brussels, 08/04/2015 (Agence Europe) - The Strasbourg-based European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) ruled against Italy on Tuesday 7 April, 14 years after the events, for failing to prosecute or identify those

responsible for police violence against anti-globalisation activists demonstrating on the sidelines of the G8 summit in Genoa in 2001.
