Brussels, 24/03/2015 (Agence Europe) - On Monday 23 and Tuesday 24 March, Europeans paid tribute to the former prime minister of Singapore, Lee Kuan Yew, who died during the night of 22-23 March at the age of 91. He had been head of the government from 1959-1990.
In the view of European Council President Donald Tusk, Lee Kuan Yew “will be remembered for having inspired astonishing growth and transformation of Singapore”.
