13/03/2015 (Agence Europe) - ESA tries to “awaken” Philae. From 12 to 20 March 2015, European Space Operations Centre teams will attempt to re-establish contact with and reactivate Philae. After a journey lasting ten years on board the mothership Rosetta, the Philae space probe landed on Comet 67P, Chury, on 12 November 2014. However, it had to be put on standby earlier than planned as it landed in a shaded area where it could not receive sufficient sunlight to recharge its batteries....
