On Tuesday 3 March, the Council decided to extend the mandate of EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia Herbert Salber until 31 October 2015. Appointed on 8 July, Salber (from Germany) was initially expected to remain in the post until 28 February 2015 (see EUROPE 11117). (Camille-Cerise Gessant)
