Riga, 30/01/2015 (Agence Europe) - France and Germany sent a joint letter to European Migration and Home Affairs Commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulos on 27 January calling on him to take action against migrant-smuggling rings after, early this year, two cargo ships (Blue Sky M and Ezadeen) were abandoned at sea by their crews leaving over 1,200 migrants, mainly Syrians, on board.
