Cases of listerosis and VTEC on rise, say EFSA and ECDC

Brussels, 29/01/2015 (Agence Europe) - In 2013 human cases of listerosis and verocytotoxin-producing E. coli (VTEC) infection rose in the EU, according to the latest report on food-borne zoonoses, published by the European Food Standards Authority (EFSA) and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) on Wednesday 28 January.
