On Monday 19 January, the Council appointed Lars-Gunnar Wigemark from Sweden as EU special representative in Bosnia-Herzegovina and head of the EU delegation to Sarajevo. Wigemark will take up office on 1 March and will replace Peter Sorensen, who has been in the post since 1 September 2011.
