On Friday 16 January, the NGOs Environmental Justice Foundation (EJF), Oceana, The Pew Charitable Trusts and WWF welcomed the adoption by Spain of new legislation imposing tougher sanctions on Spanish citizens involved in illegal fishing anywhere in the world.
