07/01/2015 (Agence Europe) -Betafence/CVC merger. On Tuesday 6 January, the European Commission cleared the acquisition of the Belgian producer of fencing systems, Betafence Holding LV, by the Luxembourg company CVC Capital Partners SICAV-FIS SA, consultant and investment fund manager. As there is no overlap between the activities of the companies, the Commission was able to approve the transaction. (EL)
