Brussels, 11/12/2014 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 10 December, the World Trade Organisation (WTO) General Council approved the accession of the Republic of Seychelles (Indian Ocean) to the WTO, putting an end to the process that was started in 1995 and that was strongly supported by the EU.
During their accession negotiations, the Seychelles concluded 17 bilateral agreements with the WTO (eight on access to goods markets, and nine on access to services markets).
