Following on from the Council of the EU, it was the turn of the European Parliament on Thursday 13 November, to approve the proposal to grant Ireland €1.5 million from the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) to help 138 former workers from the Andersen Ireland Limited jewellery manufacturing company find new jobs. 138 young people who are not in employment, education or in training, will also benefit from this measure....
