Brussels, 27/10/2014 (Agence Europe) - The Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) has welcomed the appointment of Federica Mogherini to the post of EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and, at the same time, joint chair of the UfM (with Jordan) from 1 November. Great hope has been expressed for a lasting revitalisation of the organisation, as Mogherini herself has stated in recent speeches, including to the European Parliament. (FB)
