Alexander Rondos, the EU special representative in the Horn of Africa (Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Sudan, South Sudan and Uganda) will have his mandate extended until 28 February 2015. He will have an operating budget of €890,000 for his activities for the period from 1 November 2014 until 28 February 2015. This decision was taken without debate by the Council of the EU on 25 September. (AN)
