Brussels, 23/062014 (Agence Europe) - With total exports of €120 billion in 2013 (up 5.8%, compared with a 12% rise in 2012 and a 17% rise in 2011) and a sharp rise in the exports of staple foodstuffs from the EU to developing countries, the EU became the world's leading food and agri-food exporter last year, announced the European Commission on Monday 23 June.
