16/05/2014 (Agence Europe) - €300 million from EIB for rural development in Romania. On Friday 16 May, the European Investment Bank (EIB) signed a contract to provide aid of €300 million, in the form of loans, to priority projects under the Romanian rural development programme for the period 2007-2013. These projects will help to reduce deforestation and soil erosion, improve forestry management and stimulate investment in small agricultural and rural structures in Romania. (MB)
